AFG Venture Group provides a wide range of specialised corporate advisory services to those organisations who wish to establish or enhance their corporate presence in Asia. Services include development and implementation of entry and operating strategies, market research, establishment of joint ventures as well as mergers and acquisitions.
We have an operating presence throughout the region, which ensures its executives remain totally focussed on the practical business realities of the various countries in the region and are able to practical assistance to their clients and partners.
In determining the correct entry strategy we can advise and assist in deciding on an appropriate corporate structure, finding a suitable local partner, as well as assist in the obtaining of the appropriate Government approvals.

Glen Robinson has spent the last 21 years focussing on the establishment and development of cross border alliances, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, particularly in the manufacturing, processing and distribution areas, and particularly targeted to Asia.
These corporate advisory activities are based on more than 20 years' experience in management consultancy, and he has worked with a wide range of industries from agriculture, government through to manufacturing, distribution and service industries. Loy Chansavat joined the Lao Patriotic Front in 1972 and started his career in the Ministry of Industry and Trade in 1975. He was appointed Economic and Commercial Counsellor in Moscow (1980-1988), Vice Minister, Ministry of External Relations (1988-1993) and Vice Governor of Louang Namtha Province (1991-1993). Valeriano del Rosario is a partner in the law firm of VERALAW (Del Rosario Bagamasbad & Raboca). He is a Philippine national, but he also has extensive education and business experience in the U.S. and Europe. He was educated at Georgetown Preparatory School and New York University. He returned to the Philippines and obtained his law degree at the Ateneo College of Law with honors. He was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 1982. He obtained a masters degree in maritime law from the University of Wales, Institute of Science & Technology, United Kingdom, followed by three years work experience at a prestigious commercial law firm in the city of London. Sumet Grachangnetara has over 40 years of business management as well as management consulting and business advisory experience, having worked for various multinational and Thai companies. Sumet has held various senior management positions at a number of Fortune 500 firms and was a senior-level management consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Thailand, where he gained extensive business advisory experience and valuable insight in dealing with a wide variety of industry sectors and their specifically unique business issues. Peter Church is an international lawyer and corporate adviser who has lived and worked in the South East Asian region for more than 35 years and is based in Singapore. Peter advises a varied group of major international companies in relation to their Asian investment and trading activities. Thurane Win Kyaw (Thurane) is a Burmese national who attended Assumption University in Thailand graduating with a Engineering degree majoring in computers. He spent several years working in the financial serviced industry in Thailand which was at the time that the major banks were reviewing and revising their systems in the aftermath of the Asian Financial Crisis. On his return to Myanmar, he established his own consulting company specialising in the IT area and developed systems for the retail industry, for several of the government departments, and developed the registration and control system for the 2004 SEAMEO-UNESCO Education Congress and Expo for which there were over 1000 participants from over 40 countries. Shiban Bakshi is an experienced finance professional with over 25 years experience in international and investment banking at NatWest, Standard Chartered Bank, SBI Capital Markets and the State Bank of India. He has also worked with the Commonwealth Secretariat in London, the IDRC Canada, Crown Agents UK and the World Bank.
