Faisal Badroen has over 20 years experience in senior leadership positions at a number of Indonesia's most prestigious financial institutions and education facilities, including the role of Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at the State Islamic University. More recently Faisal has focused on corporate advisory activities relating to financial and corporate restructuring, and mergers and acquisitions. Sudhakar Jayaram's key areas of expertise and experience are in strategy, marketing and brand development and he has worked in and currently provides advice across a range of sectors including education, hospitality, healthcare, media and IT. Prior to his current position with AFG VG India he was CEO of a popular regional satellite TV station in India. There he built a strong media brand which has been recognized as one of the finest in India and reflected in the more than 40 State awards for excellence in programming, innovation and path-breaking experimentation. Ian Bishop is a graduate of Manchester University, a CELTA-qualified teacher and a founding partner and Managing Director of Aim for English, an English language training centre in Jakarta. He has lived and worked in Indonesia for 10 years. He is a senior education consultant with AFG Venture Group. Ian started his own school (AIM) in Jakarta in late 2006. Over the past 5 years AIM has grown rapidly. It is recognised in Jakarta as being quality focused and highly innovative. It has developed a thriving business in "corporate" English training, in addition to its core area of individual teaching, and overseas study pre-departure preparation. [more...]
Michael Fay is an international education specialist and regional education adviser who is based in Sydney and travels widely in South and South East Asia on behalf of his clients. Michael advises a range of international education institutions, associations, media groups and peak bodies in relation to Asian education activities.
He has a regional specialisation on India, Indonesia and the ASEAN region and is on the NSW Committee of the Australia Indonesia Business Council (AIBC). He has also been a Board member of the National ELT Accreditation Scheme (NEAS) and is a Gold Friend of the Duke of Edinburgh Award/The International Award for Young People.[more...]
