For the last seven years, Asean Focus Group and now the merged AFG Venture Group have conducted a survey to monitor the perceptions of selected Asian countries as commercial targets for foreign investment and trade. The information has been an important input to decision makers in various markets. We wish to continue that research, and we seek your valued input for up to 10 minutes.

The last two years have been particularly interesting with the continued emergence of China, India and Vietnam; the political disruption in Thailand and to a lesser extent Malaysia and the continuing uncertainty created by the global credit crunch. These events have the potential to impact on commercial activities, and it will be interesting to monitor any impacts.

The survey has been particularly well supported and the results will be published in selected journals and on the news section of the AFG Venture Group website (http://www.afgventuregroup.com).
